B2B Energy / PropTech Platform

Product Design
Reframing a complex B2B product

Problem
A complex B2B platform had grown organically over time, leading to fragmented navigation, feature sprawl, and heavy reliance on user training to accomplish basic tasks.

My role
Product Designer. I co-led a conceptual reset with a Design Lead and later owned the end-to-end redesign — from information architecture and interaction design to detailed execution and engineering handover — as the sole designer.

What I did
Shifted the team from treating surface-level usability issues to addressing root structural problems. Led the redesign of the information architecture, including an unconventional navigation model grounded in users’ mental and real-world models, enabling efficient work with large, data-heavy tables.

Outcome
A clearer, more navigable system that supported complex workflows, reduced cognitive load, and enabled users to orient themselves and work independently — significantly reducing the need for live training and ongoing support.
